I have Hex Workshop 3.1 but i cant get it to open the monster file
Re: editing monster exp [Archive] - ForumsHQ
Is your copy of Hex Workshop an unregistered version? If so, that may be why you cannot open the monster file. I can't remember for sure, but one of the demo locks was to restrict certain filesizes from being opened in the program.
As for this post, I moved it to this section, as this is where it belongs.
And to edit monster exp, you would need to have a cracked version of the dll, which I should point out, is illegal. Once you have this dll, copy over your uncracked dll, delete the wccupda2.dat and then edit the wccknms2.dat file, the offsets for exp can be found using a premade hex map and hex editing, or if you'd like to start on your own, you could attempt to map the files yourself with a hex editor
Hope that was helpful
