do map 1 and start your first room as room 10000, then go from there. That'll fix your problem.



Hell, you could even use map 14..theres all of 36 rooms i think on map 14, just start at room 1000 on map 14 if you want.

bad idea..the reason you start high is so when you upgrade your edits arent messed with...if metro adds any rooms to map 1, your edits are over-written if you upgrade

this is where exporting to a text file comes in handy. You can look at room #'s and find a good range to start with. I personally like starting at 8000 or 9000, depending on the map #.

Metro is gonna start their next module at room 8000, and bounce a room here and there to 9000, 10000, yadda yadda. haha. That'd be shitty.

well yes, of course, but you could also use access to make those changes as well. you could use queries to filter data, etc. i just think it's easier to make mass changes a few numbers then it is to re-enter tons of data.

well yes, but some of us cant be bothered with remembering how to use access properly :P
