If it was simply a light, that was blue, then you were growing dirt and your plants probably won't bud properly when they are switched to their new schedule. I think you just didn't know any better, and were using high pressure sodium.



High pressure Sodium are those great big fuckers that require a shit load of juice to run, the bulbs that Mike gave me were just a regular 140 watt bulb that plugged into a regular socket.



I remember they said something blue on the package and they were clear on the bottom, and near the socket they had this silvery blue film, and they had a special bluish silver shade that came with them. Fucked if I know what they were exactly.



And I wasn't growing them any higher than about 5" in hieght at which point they were sold. I made alot of good money for the 5 months I did that, paid off some of my loans, and best of all I never had any complaints, no one ever said it was blow your fucking mind high grade, but they never said it was garbage.



But Yeah I didn't know a whole lot then about growing pot, I know a little more now, I have a 18 to 20" plant growing on my balcony in dirt and lots of natural sunshine. My roommate is a little slow on the up swing and she has no clue what it is, but it has a nice fragrance. Fucked if I know what it is, my brother had some seeds kickin around and I just tossed then onto wet TP and 2 sprouted and so I planted them and one grew.



I'll probably make a little bit of butter outta it :)
