Anti virus proggies

Post by Dark »

I HATE how Mcafee and Norton give you a complimentary 365 day free virus updates but then you have to pay later.

Can anyone suggest a good anti virus that works for 2000 and XP? I tried using Panada but holy shit did that slow down my computer in bootup and logging off

Go to www.softseek.com and downlaod Big Fix, when your updates are out od date it connects directly to the FTP server where the definitions are located and updates them for you w/o going thru there lame ass site. I've dont it before.

After your norton trial runs out you can just uninstall it then reinstall it... bam another 365 days. That is if you don't end up with a newer version sometime during that first year... which I generally do anyhow.
