i want to run my laptop LCD and install an external 19" Dell 1905FP LCD and run them both at the same time at difference resolutions. is this possible?

probably a lot better for gaming, huh? Dell 1905fp is kind of bad for gaming.

the reason why i ask is because i'm getting a refund from the university...

"Student Refund - Computer $300.00" and plus my monthly allowance deposited to my checking account hopefully today... i decided the Dell 1905FP's 20ms response time was unsuitable for playing games... the best bang for the buck i could find is that Sceptre 19" 8ms

was scetpre internally a shady company? crappy components, etc... or should i assume that since you wanted to take advantage of your sister working than that they had quality parts?
