The silence is deafening [Archive] - ForumsHQ

Post by Shaddow »

Ok So since I stop actively posting, and Gerry was banned this place has become a ghost town.

Doesn't anyone post anything anymore???

Is MMB so unintresting that the only excitement was me and Gerry... that is kind of sad really.

I've seen plenty of posts. The only thing is they're filled with people who are mature enough not to flame each other for every little reason. Try checking out the thread on Project: Sinister, ie: Sinister Urge.

Now wait... I'm confused, why'd you post this in Flamers?

Any time someone gets remotely off topic, the threads get closed instead of even attempted to be steered back on track like normal moderators usually do. There isn't a single person around here without a negative attitude anymore. Nothing mud-wise gets done around here, nobody's willing to help, everyone jumps, I'm not posting unless there's a sure reason to anymore.

You do bring up a very good point... Props to you Speed.

MMB has gone off-track because users that have not had their way on a board decide to begin ranting and raving about their situations. This throw's many of the posters within MMB into a frenzy, and they begin focusing all of their energy flaming back and forth... Great example's in the BBS reviews and Flamers section, which I am sure you are up-to-date on.

My opinion? I could make a very nice list of posters to get rid of. But I am guessing that is a tad unjustified since everyone is welcome to him/her opinion.

Once these flame wars end, users will get bored, and begin posting material that is actually relevant to the forums again. Although the track that MMB has been going lately... when users get bored, they become troublesome. Their mischievious nature gets them in trouble, and hence they deem it necessary to come right back here to bitch and moan yet again.

It's always the same users that decide to complain over and over... it's nothing new.

what's interesting is how everyone and their grandmother would jump to remove me from this message board and make baseless personal attacks against me even though none of them know me in real life to come to those conclusions
