arcview 3.1

I'm taking a GIS course using an ancient piece of software called arcview 3.1--its a geographic information science modeling tool thingamabob. Despite its age, the developers only provided us students with a trial version. Anyone know where one could theoretically obtain a method of purchasing a license, or at least a good lead to start on? You can PM me with ideas if you're so inclined.
