Just got MMedit2000 and the crack.

Looks like a kick ass progy.

Insalled it to my WGS directory.

When i open it, I can view classes and races only. Can add a race, but it doesn't show up when i log on to the board. Can't seem to so much as view monsters, items etc.

Did i do something wrong when installing or is the program just not complete? Any helpful hints or other editing progy suggestions would be a definate plus. Thx!

shrug, don't use it. i tried it once, didn't like it. stick with hand editing and you'll get lots of help here

MMEDIT2K is a pain in the ass program

Not only is it a pain in the ass... It doesnt work... Its not fully functional for one.. The reason you arent seeing the edits when u fire the bbs up is becase mmedit2k only edits your .vir files, not the dats... so to get the piece of shit to work you have to edit what you want.. then copy wcc*.vir to wcc*.dat (which is kinda risky unless u know what u r doing). make sure you have crack with no update database and fire it up.. you should now be able to see your edits..

Some advice: since mmedit2k reads the vir files, you can start it up while your server is running. You can edit and add player data as long as the character you are editing is logged fully out of mud. This is about the only thing this sorry program is usefull for.

yep works like a charm with mod 8(1.11g) for editing players... can do races and classes too if u want... its not thhhhat bad it does a few things right...
