Setting up all your edits at once..

Post by Noisrevid »

I looked through all the options and don't see such a thing or maybe i'm doing something wrong.. but is there a way you can set up all your edits, have them shown on some kind of list and remove, change or add edits then save your entire edit configuration.. then apply them at any time?

Well it's just that it's hard for me to keep in my mind the things i edited and the things i haven't yet.. and i'm noticing my edits stack on top of each other.. like monster experience.. if you set it to 8x then 20x later that's 28x whoops. But good thing there's an "equal to" command.

how would that fix your problem? not all the monster exp multipliers are set to 1. so if you multiplied the exp multi column by 8 and then by 20 later, setting them equal to one still doesn't fix it --there are still going to be monsters that don't have the right exp. just wanna make sure you don't think you fixed something when you might not have. what you would have wanted to do was use the divide monster exp tool and divide by whatever you collectively multiplied it to.

Hrumph.. well I ended up wiping out my dats and starting over anyways. Trying to find the area that let's me assign what level you have to be use a weapon but I see no such thing. And after that, i'm looking the area that allows you to gain higher than level 75... Or do I have to use another hex program to do the level thing?

whenever you are trying to emulate something in the game (such as an item level restriction) go to a record that already does what you want (such as a golden battleaxe) and see how that works. training is done by shops, that should help you along your way.
