Enter/Exit Problem...

Just installed 1.11o, let it update, install 1.11p, let it update, use the "file" for it...when I enter mud, I do not get the "anouncments" area, and when I exit mud, I get this

Temple, Halls of the Dead

Obvious exits: up

[HP=22]:x

You will exit after a period of silent meditation.

You have been inactive for too long. Bye!

Instead of the Please contact your sysop if blahblah or whatever I get the stupid you have been inactive...then it puts me on the menu......Any ideas how to fix it? Thanks

Yep...I have installed 1.11o the way it automatically installs and never had the problem...but I followed the sticky this time just in case...and its messed up.

check your "INACTIVE" setting in general setup under majormud. also check the "IDLZAP" setting in general setup under "core general setup".

What should these settings be set to? Its not kicking me offline...just when I exit it has the wrong message for some reason. Thanks

for me (should be the defaults) ...

IDLZAP: 1200

INACTIVE: 5000



is that the only problem with it? you just get that message? maybe you didn't follow v1.11p-beta13's readme.txt exactly and the msg file isn't working right. cause i know if you dont edit the file at all and do what you're doing (exit from mud) the bbs crashes.

mmmm nah Guess I didnt read it, never knew ya had to (never had this problem before though heheh)...I guess ill do that when I wake up...thanks for letting me know about it =)
