BTRIEVE OPEN ERROR 86 ON FILE "galfilk2.dat"



This is the error I am getting when I move my Worldgroup server from one XP machine to another. Basically, I am doing a direct copy from PC 1 to PC 2. Worldgroup server works great on PC 1. However, one PC 2, I get the above mentioned error. Does anyone know what this means or how I solve it?

try renaming the file to galfilk2.old and then loading WG

Nope. What happens is that WG creates another galfilk2.dat file and I then get the same error.

*nice* Thanks Syntax53! I dl'd your btrieve_mod.zip file and ran it. WG comes up perfectly now. I appreciate the help.
