Now the trust is gone, but I remember back in the day,

Then you evolved into something while I held your strong hand.

You threw me down, knocked me out, I didn't understand.

Now we only talk finance through your lawyers and whores,

I've double-locked, bolted, and boarded past doors.

I'm me because of you, but You're you because you tried,

to be a "Firm father" when there's no father inside.

You can't care about you, so why care about me?

You keep looking at warped mirrors that only you can see.

Now I'm not going to dwell on a reason I'll never find,

I've built a jet for those i love, and left your sorry ass behind.

i"m new here, and i accidently clicked yes make a poll button, so yeah and for some reason i couldnt go back, so i just made some random season poll (which closes tommorrow anyways) so yeah just ignore the poll, it's more the poem i wanted people to read.

Whoa...this was a very nice piece...but i hate the way everybody writes about pain and past troubles...we need to see some positive shit every once in a while..like Talib says...''Its like pain is our only inspiration...''....anywayyyz i was def feeling the content....wordplay was good...over-all i give this a 9/10....keep droppen...
