My Druid..any suggestions?

Curious as to what other people would suggest for me to better my druid. I know what I normally do..but just to see how different it is from what others do - any suggestions?

Platinum is a colossal, muscular Gnome Druid with no hair and black eyes. He

moves gracefully, and is quite attractive and pleasant to be around. Platinum

appears to be a genius and looks like he is one with the Gods. He is

unwounded.

I wouldn't have so much mana had it not been for the lovely +100 on dented wizard's hat. I choose the mana over the little AC I could get from a normal helm. I'm working on getting blue dragon armor too, but am also thinking about green.



The back brace is a +enc item.

If you can, work on getting your quest cloak, and get ahold of the other 3 druid staves. Each one has its benefits in differing situations, I tend to use one for resting, one for combat and one for casting (it's been a while since I have scripted, so I can't remember exactly which was which ;))

Because druids use a balance of int/will, I would have kept int/will almost equal while raising them up. I tend to go for wearing the best a/c gear for anything but resting, and I carry all the managen gear for that. A turquoise ring is about the same as the platinum ring, I think, but since I usually go nuetral, I use it to replace the b&w while resting. Definately get the dragon gear, or get a better tunic..that mithril-runed is the best till level 40, so you should be able to upgrade soon. At level 50, try and secure a shamanic headdress. Webbed gauntlets instead of the basic hard leathers you have.

I'm not sure on leggings, I think there might be something slightly better, a/c-wise, but I tend to neglect legwear anyway...trollskin boots..now thats interesting, I never bother with them myself, but good idea ;)

What does the silver bracelet do? I usually use a sunstone wristband, at some point it was supposed to protect from confusion, but maybe I'm just confused on that.

As for ears..I can't even remember..on one board I was using some kind of mithril earrings, but it was edited, and I can't remember what was metro's and what was theirs..

Stats: Like Mr. Black said, raise your Int up to par with your Wil. As a Gnome, Int will help your mana ticks and your picklocking ability.



Wrist EQ: Try to get either a sunstone wristband, ivory bracelet, or a emerald-studded bracelet. The sunstone is best because of the AC, HP, and the negate confusion.



Feet EQ: Get the blue dragon boots. If those aren't really available yet, then get a set of wyvernhide boots and just switch to trollskins when you rest.



Back EQ: Definately quest cloak.





Hand EQ: dragon armour or wyvernhide until you can get dragon armour.



Weapons: You should have all 4 staffs just for the different effects. If you script somewhere with fire attacks, use the burning staff. If you script somewhere with ice, use ice crystal, etc. Copperwood is my fav though,

Helps a lot ;) I got blue dragon hide gear now. Helps my AC a lot, 72/17 with the helm on, 66/16 with the dented wizard's hat on. I think I'll use the blue dragon helm though.



I have all the staves EXCEPT Copperwood..and it's my favorite too. I need to get a few of the tanks to accompany me to Lallim. I may be able to make it alone, but a few tanks always makes things a bit easier;)



Will try for a sunstone wristband soon, and that shamanic headdress. We haven't gone after Dark Phoenix yet because we still can't take adult red dragon..sad, I know. We tried last night, and I guess the fact that 2 of the 5 chars there couldn't hit him didn't help..but as soon as we can take adult red, we're going to take aged for my acid tempest, then dark phoenix.



Thanks for the suggestions, I'll work my int up to par with willpower now. Is that the only stat suggestion so far? Everything else look OK? I could probably use a little more charm, and a little more STR to carry more stuff, but overall I don't think I'm doing too bad.
