textblock 'testskill's

Post by syntax53 »

came across these while working on something with plat, thought i'd make a list of the different ones i found:

--

testskill agility -10 601

testskill agility 10 4074

testskill health 0 98

testskill health 30 1501

testskill wisdom 40 1049

testskill strength 0 1062

testskill strength 60 4235

testskill current_hp 0 9624

testskill traps 20 2701

testskill traps 100 4264

testskill intellect 30 2607

testskill intellect 50 4200

testskill thievery 100 4251

---

so that would be "testskill " ... you can find a lot more by using the 'find' button on the textblock editor, those were just differen't ones that i picked out.

i'm not sure if 'testskill traps 20' means if you have more fail or less to fail. i think it means if you have less than , then fail. most of the textblocks i looked up that were specified in the spot were messages saying "you failed" or w/e.

the only thing that contradicts that is the 'current_hp 0.' that is part of the guardsman's jailing action and the textblock specifed is what puts you in jail. so in this case i'm guessing it says if you have more than 0 hp then fail (aka, run the textblock). which is the opposite of the others. i haven't looked much more into it yet, so maybe i'm just missing something easy or thinking about it wrong.

ideas?

Yeah..the thing we can't figure out is, the guards jailing has a text block that reads 'testskill current_hp 0' and it runs another text block...but the thing is, guards jail you before your hps get to 0, normally anyway, but at the same time they wont jail you if you have like above 100 hps left..(not sure if its 100, thats just an approximate)...

you only get jailed for say -? (whatever death is) to a certain amount over 0, and not after a certain amount over that.

Like..jail = -15 to 100 hps, no go if over 100...if that makes sense? Again, 100 is just a guestimate..I don't know the exact amount, or if it runs on %'s..but the text block having a value of 0 is kinda throwing us off as to how it determines when you have enough HPs to be jailed, and when you have too many.
