Attempt to read from 0?

Hi,



I recently discovered a problem point on my bbs. I have been playing around in the slums and gy/crypt for a while with no problems. when i go into the slimy sewers though, the bbs crashes if i move n, s, e, or w from the initial down at the mad wiz. I HAVE made edits to the board, but none in the slimy sewers themselves. i added one room that hasnt been linked anywhere yet, several items, and a new race. Everything seemed to work fine till now. the error is specifically wgserver.exe - access violation: attempt to read from 0. When I restart wg, mud says it must run a recovery, which it does, but then i have the same trouble again. I have tried rebooting, im running wg 3.20, mud 1.11h. I havent tried restoring a backup yet as I dont want to lose the last day or so of levelling ive done, but i can if absolutely necessary. Anyone out there got any advice?

do you have your majormud addon codes entered? go to the sysop menu (from the majormud menu) and add the add on codes for the mods 1-9. your codes that were given to you should have been something like AAAAAAAAAA.

Thanks a lot syn, that was exactly what was wrong. I should have put things together and figured my crashes were happening in the mods. Workin fine now. Thanks again for the advice

i have a simulare problem but i have difernt errors such as

C:\WGserv\wgserver.exe-Access violation attempt to write to: 142d85c

and

C:\WGserv\wgserver.exe-Access violation attempt to write to: 20fffffc any help?
