The Teddy Bear VIRUS!?

Thought this was kind of funny. I get an e-mail from my mom, who isn't the most computer literate person .. (understandable)



But, the funny part is, the lady who sent my mother this e-mail is in charge of the computers at my old high school. I always use to get into arguments with her because I knew way more about computers than she did .. and hell, she's gettin payed to run my school's computer network. Just an example of her stupidity:



Jdbgmgr.exe is a system file, NOT a virus. I mean come on, does it take a rocket scientist to realize this is a hoax? They want you to send the message on to everyone in your addressbook, and the thing is signed by Nutcracker Lady or something .. cracks me up

My sister got this email and freaked out..she deleted the file..then she kept getting an error message all the time - it was pretty funny...she ended up formatting the PC, but still..heh.



She tried to get me to do it..I don't know if maybe it's just Windows XP, but that file isn't on my computer, never was:)

Theres an easy recovery ccommand on windows 98 and 2000 that will restore a file from your cabs on the installation cd

HAHA, that's Funny as hell!! one that would do some more damage would have to be the "IO.sys" file, once that's gone and you reboot...your really mesed up...format time! (LoONeYOnE here, speaking through Brunts computer). :D
