Morbid Doormud [Archive] - ForumsHQ

Post by Xetox »

As Most of yall know we are going to the pro version.....so now there will be more than one realm!

The question is for u, and this is ment for people who play the game so if you dont please dont vote!

But if you do play the game, when I install the new realm the realm that is there now will be the easy realm just like it is now.....do you all want a reset or do u want me to leave it just as it is?

Ray always has a jump on everyone in doormud. He never plays anything but a mage, and has the first 10 or so levels down to a science.

actually i'm a druid... i think i like them more than mages

and i actually don't think i'd play on morbid if it was reset... sorry :(

and i'm not tryin to be like, "if you reset, i'll leave" it's just one of those things you get tired of doing, i'm tired of playing levels 1-12 which i've done like, hell i dunno, 10 times... and i've only been over that level maybe 2 or 3 times.

y'know what i mean?

Maybe the current game could be converted to the "hard" game, w/o a reset... after all, its fine to turn on Hard Mode, 2x exp tables, higher fights, etc mid-game. If the exp tables are raised mid-game, players do still keep their current level, but need to make up the exp difference for their next level... so it works out fine after a few days... shrug?

I can understand Ray's frustration, since the earlier levels of the game are a lot less interesting than the later levels... my area design skills got a lot better w/ the higher-level areas since they were added last.
