worlgroup problems

i got my board up but people cant telnet in, works fine for both local computers using the dns addy but other people cant telnet in, any idea anyone? I know they're running a firewall but im not sure if they block ports, so what can i do if they do?



step by step instructions would be nice, thanks people

try checking your ip....make sure it's reaching the net.

change your dns ip to the ip of your internet connection... not of your local ip address to your local network...

ive tried that, try telnetting too 210.49.157.25

you need to have your port 23 pointed to your WG server computer....

this is what it says when someone tries to telnet in i believe.



TCP/IP ERROR - SEND error 10053 (port 23) software caused connection abort.



now i know u guys have encountered this so give us a hand pls

It's the firewall or a router problem

where is this firewall you speak of? Is it your own firewall, the school's or your ISP's?
