Character Building [Archive] - ForumsHQ

Post by Vegeta »

Here's a new thread. What do you go for right off the bat when you build your character? Interesting to see people's viewpoints on what they focus on and what they think is important.

Firestarta dont post. Dont give away our secrets. :-)

+30 to health right off the bat....with tank races. then +20 to agility and +10 to str. Then it depends on the character....but that is what I do every single time with my char's to start.

Health is a big plus...lots of hp = more chance of survival.

Agility is another big plus...lots of swings = better chance at killing things.

Int, Charm, Str then Will (unless it's a priest, mage or druid).

The bare basics of my stats:

Health to 90 First

Agil and strength alternate until agil is 120 and strength is 90

Focus on charm until 80

Than int until 80

And I go from there

Don't listen to Reckless, he's the same fo0L that has 120 agil on a level 45 priest...

Depends on the char and the BBS..

In tanks, I put 20 into str 20 into health and 20 into agil to start mostly, or if agil if somehwat find ass is, I'll put 30 into health 10..everyone goes mad int/charm..wtf? it's a tank..don't expect it to crit like a ninja.

ninja - majority in health/agil, spares in str...work that up putting spares into int until str is about 75ish, then i work int/charm, etc

mystics - aren't worth my time

spellcasters (not bards, bards arent worth my time either=P) i go int/will/health with spare into str/charm and a little agil..

WTF is with going high ass agil on spellcasters? that's the dumbest thing i ever heard...they're spellcasters...don't expect them to do damage like a tank or ninja, you're wasting CPs that could be MUCH better used..

I couldn't do a hog..even with upped stats...

The way I build spellcasters, they depend HEAVILY on int and will, and a little less heavily (but heavily none-the-less) on health/charm

i've seen nice hog spellcasters tho..but thinking about making on just...*shivver*..nightmares...

Why would you put all your cps into wisdom on a mage? Mages use int. If you put all your cps into wisdom, then str and health, you'll have a 20 int dumb ass non casting fool.
