512MB RAM
20g HDD
Win XP Pro or win2000 advanced server
gigabit 3com nic
Bandwith: 100MB Cogent (cogentco.com, 50x speed of DSL, can you say no lag?)
If i get enough response from this, i'm going to be needing someone to help me op it because right now my life is very busy. I'll be sure that the box will stay up. Let me know

If you want a pvp -ONLY- board, why is it only 10x? A pvp -ONLY- board should be 100x or higher, like OMC3. A board geared towards pvp is 10x.

I have to agree I say make it like 50x to 100x and limit items so people have something to pvp for. Run tournys for items and that should spark a lot of pvp. I like the idea.

why not just make rats worth like 50 million exp and cap the levels at say 20 or so for pvp? that way you're right where ya need to be for some interesting pvp. hehe

This is true, i've taken all the suggestions into consideration and have come up with the following additions to the hexing list:
100x exp
limited items
also, i'll be making my own version of the arena with some interesting rooms and whatnot, that oughta be fun. I will also hold sanctioned tournaments for prizes and new items etc. etc. i'll start hexing this thing tommorow morning and if all goes well i'll have it up shortly, but i'll definetly post on here with all the information. If anyone else has any other suggestions, let me know.
