MMExp Ubuntu
MMExp Ubuntu
I don't know if this one has been asked before or not, but is it possible to run MMUD Explorer on Linux? Ubuntu 9.10 specifically? I have Mega running fine and dandy with Wine, but MMExp gives an error on loading after it installs. I don't know if it's possible to even do because of the links to the databases and stuff. Maybe Ghaleon will know? If it is possible, how'd ya do it?
Re: MMExp Ubuntu
Update:
I got it to work! The problem was when MMExp tried to install MS Jet 4.0 during setup, it wouldn't install properly, and MMExp can't run without it. Here's what I had to do:
Install winetricks:
wget http://www.kegel.com/wine/winetricks
Make it executable:
chmod +x winetricks
Install the MS Jet 4.0 package:
./winetricks jet40
Install MMExp like you normally would via Wine, and BAM. Functional MMExp.
