Windows XP SP3

Service Pack 3 for Windows XP has been out for quite some time now and I have been using it since before its official release date.



There are a lot of "quirks" that i dont like that have me wanting to use SP2 on my next format/build. svchost will periodically take up 100% cpu utilization, something which i've never really had a problem with before. also... there seem to be other sluggish annoyances that appear to manifest themselves overtime.





I'm going to spend more time with SP3 and then switch to SP2 and report back my results.

3 systems I've installed SP3 on have crashed unrecoverably.

I'm sticking with SP2 on my laptop.
