Thinking about getting a PS2. Does anyone have one that they have modded themselves and was it easy/hard to do? I cant do much research since im at work. I modded my xbox when I had it and it was a fairly easy process.

I spent $15 on Swapmagic 3.0. I then voided my warranty by opening my slimline(v11) case, and found the sensor in the back that detects when the lid is open, and taped it down. I then closed everything back up again, and found the 2nd sensor located in the front right corner, and taped that down too. Now my ps2 dosen't know when the lid is open, so it dosen't reboot and I can use swap disc method all day long.

70+ PS2 games in 2 months: Priceless

I used this site here (http://www.geocities.com/pstwoslimline/tapetissue.htm) as a point of reference, it's really cake to do if you want to ghetto mod it.

I also use swapmagic and it's a pain in the ass, but it's cheap. it's one of the cheapest mod jobs i've ever done, mine was also ~$15.
