WHAT DOES REMAP THE FUEL SYTEM MEAN AND DO I HAVE TO BUY THIS INSTRUMENT OR CAN A BIKE SHOP DO THE REMAP, I WANT TO BUY A AFTER MARKET EXHAUST FOR MY 2006 KAWASAKI VULCAN 900 THE EXHAUST I WANT SAYS I NEED TO BY THIS REMAP FUEL SYSTEM INSTRUMENT IS THIS TRUE THIS MEANS I WILL PAY $400.00 FOR THE PIPES AND $250.00 FOR THE REMAP SYSTEM.

If you're buying a product that changes the way your bike runs it's a good idea. This would be something i'd recommend a shop doing. It's basically just reprogramming the injectors. Doubtfull to do so without replacing them on you bike, but i could very well be wrong. You're fuel system is set a certain way. changes to the exhaust probably just mean you need larger injectors. I'm not too informed on this subject, but i'd buy the kit to keep your bike running properly.
