DeathBlow first Impressions [Archive] - ForumsHQ

I decided to log into DeathBlow BBS today and this is what I've gathered:



1) I must admit, the ANSI artwork really hit me with a nostalgic blow to the face. It reminded me of the 1-Liner days when I ran Cell Block 4 (CB4) on my Oblivion/2 software. Very nice artwork and color scheme. Waiting to see if I'm addressed by an operator as of yet.



2) Op (Daede) Seems frienly enough. He jumped into Tele with me when he saw my page to the sysop console. Definatly has a good working knowledge of the system.



3) Has a great staff of people on there who have made this place work great and function well. I haven't seen a BBS this tricked out since Lunar Dynamics, the OP puts all of his heart into his system and it's definatly work checking out.

I been playing on deathblow for a couple of weeks now, and I'd have to completely agree. It's one of the only BBS's that I would spend my time on. Definate 3 thumbs up for DeathBlow.

4) He uses your name 'Sephiroth' and confused the hell out of me when he first started talking online. I was like "goss invisi??" :)

It was a jedi mind trick...and yours is weak :P bwaahahahahahahahaha



Oh yeah i fixed that shit you were breaking the online block with :) look at it now.. If the user-id is longer than 15 characters and contains no spaces, it concatonates to the first 15 characters of the user-id, but still shows the entire id in the tooltip :) Thanks for inadvertently discovering the problem and suggesting a couple of solutions :) Seasoned help is always appreciated.
