Maybe I'm psychoanalyzing too much, or maybe not enough. I know very little about drugs, and seeing as Speed has been well educated on the subject, you could help explain a few things?
I'm assuming you mean the topics in your post. Sure, I'll go through and see what I can do. If you have any specific questions, fire away.
Well, I am not a conisseur (sp?) of weed, but I have had my fair share of tokes. I never had any of these kind of experiences, the most that happens to me is a I build up a paranoia for the people around at times, and go to bed assuming the worst.
I'll hit on the paranoia first. Paranoia is a side-effect of marijuana. The one thing that I have noticed in my past experiences is that the more you smoke, the less side-effects do anything. Back when I used to first start smoking, I would be paranoid as fuck when smoking. We'd go to a few spots, each one was a nice chill spot, hidden away from anyone. We never once saw anyone at any of our spots, but when I was stoned, I would think there were people out there. The trees would move a certain way, a branch would creak, an animal would run, and I'd wig out. My friends helped me calm down, cause it's much easier to not be paranoid when you don't actually hear anything. I would never be paranoid at what other people would say or do, only on things that I thought was out in the darkness or whatnot.
I've only been smoking for a little under five years. I have to cut out about a year of that because I quit for a period of time while I was with my ex, since weed was worse than heroine in her mind. After I had been smoking for a few years, my notice of side effects was significantly reduced. This includes paranoia, slurring of speech, stumbling, attention span, and all other related side effects that I can't think of right now. My high has not decreased, other than the expected tolerance that I have drawn up, but I can still smoke all night long and not get paranoid.
Basically what I'm trying to say is that if you smoke long enough, you will no longer be as paranoid and you will experience a more manageable high.
I have found that smoking weed helps me sleep better most of the time though, so I usually only do it late at night.
Not necessarily. There are many many types of weed, and all of them serve their purposes. The most basic difference is between Indica and Sativa. These are the two different types of weed plants. You probably won't find very many pure Indica or pure Sativa plants, since there are so many damn hybrids. You do get weed that you can tell the difference, though.
Sativa will represent a skinnier stalk, less bulky buds. Indica buds are thicker stalks, thicker buds. Sativa gives you a nice chill almost surreal/trippy high. Indica gives you a body buzz, inducing sleep. Touching back on the paranoia subject, sativa would give you more of an anxious paranoid high, it hits your mind more than your body.
Again, you probably won't find a pure sativa, or a pure indica, but if you don't know the visual differences between the two, you can sit down stoned and analyze your high and determine which is more prominent. I dislike smoking pure sativas or pure indicas, they give me too much of one side of the spectrum. A pure indica bud will put you out if you aren't prepared for it. A pure sativa would most likely be classified as creeper bud. Creeper bud basically shuts down your receptors for a short period of time, probably about 10-15 minutes (enough to smoke several bowls/bong hits). When your receptors turn back on, the high hits you all at once. I like creeper bud on occasion, it's fun to take a half dozen bingers, sit back sober, and just wait for it to creep up behind me and beat the living shit out of me.
There's all kinds of weed, there's weed for eating, weed for fucking, weed for sleeping, weed for exercising, weed for chilling, weed for relaxing, weed for playing video games, weed for typing, weed for thinking, there is weed for everything. I popped out over two lbs of some high quality indica dominant bud last year outdoors with three plants. Instead of smoking it, I simply got rid of most of it and bought a cornucopia of buds for special occasions.
If you are not a seasoned smoker, then even the slighest indica dominant will probably put you out, especially if you are not expecting it. All weed can be used for all occasions, it's just some are better at it than others.
During the day I become very groggy and less active, but then again, who isn't? Alcohol is my drug of choice, and I recently tried coke. But that's getting off the subject.
I have no respect for coke heads, or anyone who is actively using it.
Also, when I did shrooms, that increased the paranoia aspect 5x as much as weed.
Shrooms give you more of a mind high than a body high. Hence the paranoia. I'm not as versed in shrooms as I am weed, but I do know that paranoia is to be expected.
I have since tried shrooms, and have not gotten the same aspect as the first time. I assume maybe when I'm under the drug, I begin to think something, and since my brain isn't firing right, it is forever etched in my brain?
I don't quite understand where you are going with this.
