and acutally, to get the dos window of wg everytime the damn thing is started, you gotta edit it in regedit.... ;) just find WG and then somewhere in there it says sumshit about ConsoleView, and it will say 0 by defult, from there change it to 1.

you guys are all smoking crack. windows NT/2000/XP (xp pro, i dont know about home) have a services manager. start-->settings-->control panel-->administrative tools-->services. find the worldgroup server entry and change it to "disable." There is also a wgserv.exe entry in there, leave that alone.

well yer prolly right Syntax.. I use win2k pro but fuck.. I never fuck around with da shit.. ;)

He is right...its a little checkbox that allows it to interact with the desktop....and well, the memory problem I am having...I only have 128 on my laptop. with winxp, and the server going...plus a few other programs, it leaves me with about 8 megs of ram. So...I just ordered 256, so I'll have 384...should be plenty. I totaly forgot about all those admin things..I just created my mmc.
