i take resentment to that statement :) ... i think i do a pretty darn good job of listening to what everyone has to say and trying to incorporate their ideas. i didn't respond to reckless' export file name idea only because the release i should be putting out tonight will already contain it.



as for this idea, i think it is a good and will look into what it would take to implement.

It doesn't piss me off that you called me gay. It pisses me off that you used your admin tools to edit my post and change what I said. Nobody else does things like this with their admin tools, why should you? Would it be so hard to stick with the norm and just say "You are gay" or something of that nature? I hate when people edit my posts, unless they are doing it to remove unappropriate content. There's no reason for this.



About the idea, personally, I hate the way Diablo is set up. It shows lack of imagination and ability on behalf of Blizzard. I'm the minority though. It doesn't matter to me whether Syntax puts it in. If the users want it, go for it. I was simply stating that I don't like the idea. Regardless of how I say I don't like something, unless it's against the rules or has offensive content, don't edit my posts.

Diablo is pretty fun. I just don't like the way the items are named. "Giant sword of flaming", "Shimmering earrings of stone"... wtf. They could have at least made some decent names instead of having the computer generate them. Battlenet is horrible with all the hackers. I've heard that Diablo 2 helped out the battlenet hacking thing a lot, but I'm not sure. Never played D2 on battlenet. I prefer to play these types of games with people I actually know and can trust.



More-on-topic:

If the majority of the people like the name generator, then by all means, throw it in there. Just make sure the database is huge so we won't get all these new boards with a thousand new items, with duplicate names and different stats. I'd be pissed if I went to Morbid and got a Lancing Blade of Energy and then went to Sinister and got a Lancing Blade of Energy, and they had completely different stats.

That site is cool. Comes up with some strange stuff. Useful when you get into a writers block, and for the lazy :)
