Nero problems [Archive] - ForumsHQ

Ok, Stupid Nero is acting up on me.



I start it up, and it gives me this message:



The Win-ASPI file '?.?' cannot be found, therefore you can currently select only image recorders.



This missing file is a part of the Windows 95/98/ME files.

Please fix this problem then restart Nero.



(Error 16: No adapters!)





NOW WTF??

It worked the last time I went to use it. But now it won't..I have no clue wtf file it is talking about, or even hor to go about fixing it.

Two for reinstall, one for upgrade the OS. Damn, you guys are sounding like Metro.



Nero most likely has a knowledge base on its web site. Visit that. Also, do a google search for the exact error message you got. I've found that 99.9% of computer problems are solved by doing that. Somebody else has already had your problem and most likely already posted a solution other than reinstall and/or upgrade your OS.

bah it's much easier to uninstall/reinstall than to look through a bastardload of help files

What if uninstall/reinstall doesn't fix your problem? I have adaptec easy cd creator, and uninstall/reinstall never did. I was missing a file that didn't come with the install.

if uninstall/reinstall dont' work for that, i'd get a diff burner or reinstall windows! haha
