majormud g wont work in windows xp [Archive] - ForumsHQ

I tried install Majormud 1.11g in Windows XP, but it has some DLL error during setup.



Any help please? Or maybe a later version of majormud.

Wel...I have ran a lot of versions, including g on windows XP..whats the DLL you are having problems with?

maybe i should try and find a later version to download?

i think thats the error you get when you dont have your WG and mud going into the same directory. if you used the default WG directory ( X:\Program Files\Galacticomm\Worldgroup Server ) then when you install mud it has to be pointed to that directory as well. ( muds default install directory is x:\WGSERV )

installed fine...

now i've got to get worldgroup out of this demo mode.. I've tried everything!!!
