As one would expect with a bbs that doesn't announce ahead of time, the sysop is a player on this bbs. SADLY he and no one else on this bbs was able to compete with Knowone..and when I logged this bbs this morning Knowone was the rank 1 player.

I logged on merely to see who was playing, and laughed about Knowone being rank 1 with my friends when one of them said they were going to make a char. I said no, I dont wanna play there. But with some arm twisting and the promise of merely pushing for a quick take over I agreed and another friend joined us, with 2 more planing to join the next day/after work.

As the name of this bbs was Terror bbs we picked our random ass named based on that theme, and suddenly we were all dupes. But the sysop supposedly installed dialsoft and la de da didnt hear anything about it. We take an agressive early game build using tanks and whs to quickly gain exp. I found out after a few hours that the exp I made was impossible, and that no one makes level 10 in a day, let alone 4 hours.

Not only was our exp rate very easy to get, it was half hearted at best. The whole bbs chimes in and the sysop begins his telepath interegation. It was basically like every thinks your cheating, how are you making so much exp..blahblah, I explained that comparing me to someone that can be out played by Knowone was FOUL, and that he should tell his other users that I am just better.

After 5-10 min, he sys jailed my WH who had taken something like 8th rank on the bbs in a few hours. I use my kang priest dupe(allowed 1 dupe) to give the entire realm a how to play majormud tutorial. I am repeatedly told that I am wrong, that I didnt do what I said I did and I found out that everyone on the bbs has been playing for 15 years a knows that you cannot level that fast. The bbs is nearly all idiots.

After a long conversation in which the bbs proved that they know nothing about this game they've played for 15 years, the sysop releases my WH.

This is when they realm starts attacking me. Amusingly they start attacking my lawful priest and my friends lawful cleric. 2 fiends in the realm. The people attacking start to have disturbing knowledge of my where abouts and what I'm doing. They comment on random battles my priest and his group(a warrior and a ninja, my 2 friends dupes) are having. They mention in gossip that I just walked by them in Torchlit Cavern while my exp tracker tells me they are in darkwood.

I'm pushing to max fiend the mystic that is attacking the lawfuls when he has a successful round vs my wh. So the rest of us group up with the intention of simly having the warriors attack from backrank with prev on, assuring their victory. The sysop gossips after this conflict that he was watching the fight and KNOWS we are all the same person. This is absolutely baseless, so I assume that the sysop is either an idiot or a liar. He motivation of course being that he is playing in the realm.

He claims to not have editted anything..however when I entered the realm I found the ebony ninjato and platinum mace on the ground....which the players who had them claimed that someone raided their DPs...but oddly at the same time they said that, they had the items on them.

The sysop continued to vagerize for awhile when one of my friends simply asked if he would either ban us or leave us alone. He said he wouldnt ban us, and then started to sys lightning my WH, just the offending too much exp gain must be cheating char, eventually he sys jailed us.

Its difficult to explain how bad these players and sysop are. Its perfectly ok to be an ignorant fuck, but its not ok to flaunt it. This bbs gets 5 stars of epic fail.

Oh yeah, no one on this bbs was aware that you could get the golden locket at the begining of day 2, or 3...they called bullshit when I told them it was my first move when I logged...cause someone got it within 10 minutes of the bbs being up. lolz.

I don't care for deathcow's use of bugs, but he is right in the about you can level that fast with a tank. The locket regens after every cleanup. He is also right that it is cheap to not have pre-advertisement of your board, it reeks of insecurity and also the reason I decided not to play there. Although I am not playing anywhere for awhile, needing a break from this game.

If his friends had logged in earlier to scope out the BBS then why were all 6 accounts created at nearly the same time, instead of staggered as he suggested in his narrative? Finally the fact that three of the accounts had an identical password shows that at a very minimum he was one dupe over the allowed limit. A clear violation of the stated BBS policy.

Deathcow is upset that he was caught breaking the rules so obviously. Given his admission of coming to the BBS simply to take it over, and the obviousness of his account duplication, this whole story stinks of someone who is just raging that they got caught cheating.

Good riddance to bad rubbish, I say.

Oh, one more thing. If, as you say, Knowone is such a pathetically bad player, and the Sysop is playing the board, why on earth were the people you accused of being the sysop a few hundred thousand EXP behind him? Wouldn't the Sysop simply edit things so that he'd be on top? I mean seriously. Your accusations literally make no sense whatsoever.

I enjoy that you made 2 new accounts here to give the illusion that you aren't half of the users on your own bbs, but honestly i can't comment on what they made their passwords. And the accounts did stagger in. I made one account and logged off and discussed in on a different bbs. Then one of them made...this is stupid.
