NEED HELP HAVING SERVER PROBS!!!!!!PLEASE HELP!

people are telling me they cant connect to my server i have connected to my server with my laptop using my sprint internet and could connect fine but no one has logged on and everyone is saying they keep timing out i put my server ip as the default DMZ on my router and this still did not fix the problem someone please help me im not to expereinced in this type of issue so anyone that can help me troubleshoot this problem that would be awesome ill even pay someone at this point but i dont have anyone around me that knows any kind of IT stuff so someone please help me!!!!!
