Scripting Necromancer NPP
Scripting Necromancer NPP
I have a level 48 missionary I want to script in the NPP , specifically the necromancers. Now I have heard of people having to drag or move certain monsters to script this area effectively. I was wondering if anyone knows how, where, best setup options. I basically need the ABC's of scripting this area. Thanks for any help.
Re: Scripting Necromancer NPP
Ive not done it witha missy, but mainly you need to have a cross, large silvery is best, but copper will do. DO NOT DRAG A NECROMANCER off the path. The others I am not sure about.

Re: Scripting Necromancer NPP
Drag out anything that is See Hidden, but make sure to take care not to spawn your necro off the path. There is only 1 in the game at a time, and anyone spawning him off your path will easily fuck you. Then simply sneak the path and enjoy your massive exp.
P.S. Don't forget to kill the angel when he's up

Thanks for the replies. Im was looking thru MMudExplr and I see alot of rooms with only single spawn necros. Im just not
entirely sure which rooms to script thru.

Re: Scripting Necromancer NPP
You could start by looking up the proper necromancer in your MME, then recording all the rooms he spawns in. Using your newfound data, you can plot out a course for a path.
I would start with a small path with the 1st method until you realize the full scope of Megamud's flaws while *looping* the NPP, not the least of which is it's propensity to go off path at the slightest lag. But do not fear, there is a way to combat this!
There are several advanced methods for scripting here, such as guiding your path with items on the ground and responses to move certain directions when it sees certain items. Or...
If you are on a board where you have access to sys gotos, namely Khazarad goto, you can easily have your script sys back to khaz and run back to NPP via Redstone portal.
Keeping your path in proper sync is crucial to harvesting the massive exp that is available in the NPP. It also allows you to control the Fallen Angel-and the trainer above him-if you choose to do so. Good luck!

Thank you very much , much more informative. I will be trying out this weekend.
Re: Scripting Necromancer NPP
I've had no problems in using winterhawks path for necros. There are a lot of paths I change but that one seems to work for me when I did it. Easy over 2 mill with a paladin. I'm sure missy would do better .
