Nexus Hunters

I've been looking for a new weapon for my pally and the nexus chakram caught my eye. I saw that iIt drops from nexus hunters in the black wasteland. I've spent hours roaming around the area (avoiding the LotH) but havn't seen any hunters. Were they taken out of the game? Am I in the wrong area? Or are they just super-rare?

Nexus chakram are lim-3. And even though they don't always get used, people do tend to hoard them.
