works fine for me under combat attack spell #sws, make sure silverwood staff is the normal weapon no bs weapon and nothing under normal attack.you may however have to set an event to send a^M every 4 or 5 seconds since the spell on the staff isn't auto-combat.

when you type i does it say (weapon hand) or (two handed) if it says weapon hand it isn't the two handed thing if it says two handed then your sysop would have to edit and fix it

Little late on this, but for those that don't know how to hex-edit, you can fix this problem in Megamud v1.03u by deleting the #sws message and spell entries, and then re-adding them yourself. It'll still re-equip them one time when used/before attacking (and give you an error message saying you don't have one to equip), but at least it won't get stuck spamming the equip command.

Should work with any item code... I've done this with the Silverwood Staff(#sws), Emerald-tipped Crozier(#etc), and Shimmering Greatsword (#sgs) so far, and they've all worked since (though tbh, I have no idea why as technically nothing is different than before). Also, yes, I'm doing this on a 1.11p board.
