ok well I been working on edits and such before bringing my board online, However I seemed to of Flucked up my Monster EXP so like rat's are giving 5k a pop :eek: so.... I was wondering how I can fix/change the monster exp's back to base? Then I can go in and MANUALLY change exp the way I want it INDIVIDUALY since I cant seem to figure out how to do it thru the universal modifier....
It would also help you to know Im only running NMR v1. 0 :( because I failed at trying to install updated versions Lets just say I suck? or actually Im just a beginner and have only been at this for a couple of days.. If anyone would like to give me some one on one help my AIM is Fellisa.

You definatly need to install the update to NMR. That will help to fix alot of compatibility issues with 1.11o and 1.11p-BETA. Not updating im sure will certainly cause database corruption as the newest update for NMR includes true support for 1.11p.
When syntax53 sees this im sure he'll have alot better imput on the matter than i did. If not then ill look into it for you.

Learn to read error messages. It says the "Dat File Version" setting is invalid, and since it's asking you to load the settings dialog, that setting is probably on that screen. It's not going to load some random unrelated screen. Look on the screen that comes up for the "Dat File Version" setting and the light shall be shed.
I would delete your dats and start from scratch. NMR v1.0 is definately not compatibile with v1.11o and who knows what you've done to your dats. :nono:
p.s. I know you're new at this, but you should have come here when you first ignored the critical errors that NMR was giving you. Slow and steady wins the race. Remember that error messages usually aren't random strings of gibberish. They're messages from the programmer (me in this case) that something isn't right.

Which NMR should I be dowloading from scratch then with the majormud version Im using? I thought I was supposed to install v1.0 (full installation) as a base then work from there. So if I do that then what upgrades do I need to download and in what order, then install?
Because like I said before, I installed v1.0 then tried installing v1.56 with 1.56n also tried it without... shrug So basically I just need a walk through on getting and installing Nightmare. (I need user friendly, beginner instructions). ;)
