please help

I have been running a family server for the past 6 years or so and it has finally died.. I have a new compaq machine and it will take over but when I looked through my backups the newest majormud demo package I could find was 1.1f and I know g is available from Metro.. Does anyone happen to have a demo copy of anything high enough to use with nightmare? I'd be happy to share any demo back ups that I have..

I would assume that since they're demo's, that'd be ok. Of course, chances are he's fishing for something more.

I didn't mean to offend anyone I've never known demos to be off limits.. but I will not ask if it's a touchy subject..

Demos are not off limits. But metro only offers demos up to a certain version. I can't recall which one it is, but you could contact metro and see about renewing your licensing for a newer version.

the last demo they offered was 1.11g, mod 8.

Yeah the lowest version on that page is 1.0 and I need .96 for try to edit a 1.1g game.
