megamud problem

1st I hope I have the right forum....



Problem: have megamud 103.U.. when i try to load a mud screen it wont load.. locks up at 'Loading Players'



I did a compleate re-instal today,, and remade the chars for 3 bbs's ( so far) and now it does the same thing .. locks up at 'loading players..



any help would be cool? thanks in advance

anyone have this prob.. can offer me some advice on how to fix it please?

After you uninstall megamud it still leaves behind files, go to C:\Program Files and under there is the Megamud directory, try deleting that completly then reinstalling.

Old post, but i have same exact problem. Ive only notice it happen if I have more than 1 instance of megamud open at once. I have to uninstall everything and then reinstall for it to work for a little while until it expectedly happens again.

i dont have 1000 copies of megadumb open...so i have no clue how to fix this











hehehe...my guess would be that megadumb loaded some monsters on your players list and it dont like it. check your players names out...see any monsters and/or items delete them. (i think thats the fix!)
