WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?????!!!



I just witnessed the WORST play calling in a professional football in all the years I have been watching. Now I understand why KC lost to Cleveland earlier this season. Here is a wonderful portrait of our offensive play calling :wallbang:



First off let me make it clear I never expected the Chiefs to beat Indy. I knew they would probably loose to Peyton Manning's god-like ability to read a defense and move the footbal, but I didn't expect KC to hand them the game by doing EXACTLY what they expected. The playoffs are won by the team that adjusts their tactics the most effectively throughout the game. KC did exactly the opposite of that. My read on the game was this: KC thought that Larry Johnson could run through the Colts defense. Thats all. I don't think the offensive coordinator or head coach thought any deeper than that. Once Johnson was stopped a couple of times, they were stumped. They had no other ideas on how to move the ball. Not only that, but they didn't even try running anywhere but straight up the middle. Their QB choked a few times, threw turnovers, and didn't get a first down in the entire first half. What would they do to change things up in the second half? NOTHING. No change at QB, no new running plays, NOTHING CHANGED. In the post-game conference, head coach Herm Edwards said "This is the same offense we've been running for the last 16 games. Nothing has changed." NO SHIT. That was his defense against the insinuation that the offense lost this game. He is right, he offense did NOT lose this game, HE lost this game with his limited imagination and his stubborn attitude toward trying something DIFFERENT.



If this offense doesn't show some kind of diversity next year I'm going to find a new team to watch. Watching someone run the same lame-ass conservative low scoring ball control BS offense is as much fun as slamming your head into a concrete wall. As hard as you can. While being ass pounded by Tommy Lee.

Sorry about your frustrations. I wasn't sure who was going to win it, personally, but glad it was Indy because they're my surrogate team, seeing as how I've had manning/harrison on my fantasy team for 4 years now.

The same could be said for Raiders fans. (sorry stu). Go Bears.

I'm not sure what to expect from Chicago. They're up and down so often, kinda like my blood pressure while watching a game. I stand by lovie and his decissions, but i'm not too sure about allowing Grossman to stay in as much as he's been doing. Lovie should be the quarterback. He'd do a jesus pose and hover into the endzone every play. (as i image that in my head, jesus music plays).
