People do tend to just quit. Of course this will only be in higher level areas so..in theory people should have some sort of attachment by the time they get there. Also since I'm not going to make this a bbs that is multipied exp character exploration of the area will happen much sooner for large groups than it will for solo players. It tends to be solo players that get upset quickly over a single loss. Hurm..I'll have to think about it I guess.



Edit: So I've read a buncha posts in various spots and I'd like to say for the record that I honestly have 0 desire to play on my own bbs. I've already spent countless hours play testing areas and as such don't have any desire to play. I will from time to time have characters in the realm and if they are anything more than level 1 chars it will be for the purpose of making sure area's are running correctly and to make sure that monster AI hasnt ended up getting a monster stuck in some silly room with 15 other large bosses, or you know something along those lines.

It will, it just takes a really really long time to make all the changes Im doing. I had stopped working on this for almost a month as I had a series of deaths IRL that caused me to not feel like working on this. I'm actively testing while I'm editting so hopefully once im finished with edits it wont be too long until the bbs opens. The testing is highly important though, for example i had a summon spell with the wrong monster attached to it...and nobody wants to have the monster i had linked to it summoned on them.



It also takes me alot of time to figure out how to makes things do what i want them to, as many things I am doing are not currently present in the game, so i dont always have examples to look at.

Now he hadnt ever done this before mind you..but me thinks I'll have to run some serious testing to see how often this happens..Cause he was only level 50. I dont care if this ends up being like a 1/2000 rounds kinda thing..but..ew.



I also dont like how his backstabs were almost all impales...rather than a mixture.



Look back at things i realize that the slash was pulled from the wrong level..and in fact that particular surprise hit was suppose to be on the level 70 surprise attack for that weapon, I had a bad spell number in my random textblock cycle. :(



Which is bad cause that same mistake elsewhere could cause a level 1 gypsy to have 1k combat rounds :0

hehe..maybe if all i was gonna be doing was testing...But. I'm still working. I'd love to have help testing but...as for just puting it up wont work. I'd love to explain howeverthing works...but I can't in a single post..all i can say is that every weapon/every class has its own new things so...profounding tesing is indepth..Im really drunk right now..I dont even know if i recognize you as being one of the poeple that know alot about mud.. There are of course certain people that are like the elite..I'd actively persue their surport.. other people are just surving as moral surport. Each and every of these "oher people" are very nice to hear from.. cause..i support is nice...getting an elite to offer help..is like cutting my time down....ugh..drunk love ya :)
