Whose editing?
What new areas, quests, races/classes.

Your kinda pissing me off, you keep knocking my board (well, i wouldnt say keep, i just dont catch a lot in posts the first time i read them through). I have no information regarding new areas, quests, races,classes, because ITS IN EDITING STAGE
And i will use the BBS ad template when i post an ADVERTISEMENT for the bbs, in the ADVERTISEMENT forums, just like i did for my previous bbs. This was in the BBS NEWS page because its NEWS about an UPCOMING bbs!
Please, read my posts, and pay MUCH more attention then quoting my whole old log on screen and doing nothing but talking down about the bbs.

Hes right, dont be an asshole to statik. The guys advertising his BBS and is claiming to have made some major fixes. If he didnt fix the thievery issue then thats his problem, dont be an asshole in a BBS ad thread demontheses.

I'm not 'trying' to be an ass in any way. I just wish he would have given a bit more info in his first post. Your post, Chronik, led me to believe that you had a LOT of item editing, areas, bosses, and this entire list of glorified mud additions, yet when I logged on I found a pretty much stock realm with mods installed.
I apologize if you thought I was bashing your board, but I consider it more constructive criticism then anything else. I received the same thing when I began my board, just take it in good humor.
More power to you if you actually got mod-10 to work... you will be the first. Mod 10 causes a lot of problems when it doesn't have an activation code, and it leaves alot of disconnected areas and rooms. I just don't think calling it 'mod-10' is fair. Mod-10 is going to include a LOT more then just Shadowmere, even though its basis will be off of the Shadowmere playline. They've (Metro) talked about quests, bosses, areas, shops (quoted to be more shops and items then the mod-7 release) and the like.

Hey man, no sweat I was just like damn this dude is knockin my board :) Had a rough day the other day, you know how it goes..
However, when its reset, and up for playing, there will be a lot of edits, items, bosses, there are quite a few in, but their for higher levels.. thanks for the advise though, can never get enough of that...
PS, I didnt think i called it mod 10? maybe I did, ( not gunna go look now ) but i thought i said "a mod 10 city" or something to that effect, either way - didnt mean to sound like i had a fully functional mod 10 :).. I'll admit, the realm is an eyesore right now, and I wouldnt of posted the addy but I figured i'd let people logon and check out what they could for now..get a hold of me about mod 10 thuogh

i wasn't being an asshole, i was questioning one of his claims, which he made relevant to his bbs ad by claiming it in the first place. if i were being an asshole, it'd be far more obvious, as i'd be questioning not only his claims but probably his editing ability, his imagination, his intelligence, the strange odor coming from his armpits, and his parentage (before you jump all over me about being an asshole, i'm listing those things on general principle because they're good things to insult people about on here, not because i hate statik or know him from a damn hole in the wall). btw, it's demosthenes, iNSieVDoG, thanks for taking the time.

Hmm.. I am almost sorry I opened my mouth about the BBS - I should of just waited until we started advertising it. If i started reading this thread i'd think the bbs was going to disaster..
Heh, i'd like to clear a few things up, I'm tired and buzzed up a bit. This isint a BBS that's going to continuously crash, or have down time, unbalanced issues, etc, etc. We've all seen those boards come and go.. I believe I seen an advertisement for a BBS with the ip of 192.168.0.102, plenty of advertisements that are a week old and their already down, etc.
Mozack and myself are putting a good deal of time into this mud.. It wont be crazy edited to where you have to relearn stock maps and shit like that, but there will be and are new areas with puzzles and what not, some of the new items available are west of sarakhess for now (will be moved).
I thought having the BBS up during creation/editing would be a good idea so people could keep up to date on edits (there will be a 'help edits' available tomorrow), and get a feel for the realm (like i stated before, there will of course be a reset)
As for now, if you logon, there are a number of sysops, they only have this access for the testing stages and everyone will have to remake their accounts upon final release, and IP/address will be changed-
And for the record, I don't think anyone was being an asshole, I myself would jump to conclusions given the scenario.. Thanks for the advice, having my back, the whole shi bang.
