NMR Export error

Post by Firestarter »

When i try to export to an access database in NMR i get the error: Error 3251: ADOX.keys. I'm getting the same error no matter what category i try to export and no matter how small the range is. The mud itself seems to work fine though.

doesn't the error message say anything more than that? are you exporting to a new file? has it ever worked?

it has never worked before, the error message varies between the one i posted and my current one which is: Error 3800 DAO.Recordset 'pkItems' is not an index in this table. Whether I export to a new file or a current one, I get one of those 2 errors. It seems I can sometimes change the error message by playing around with the ranges, but then after a while it just repeats the same error message no matter what range I have. Can't even export within a range of one.

what operating system? and do you have any database software programs installed? like Microsoft Access (what version if so) or anything like that?

Try installing Jet 4.0 SP8 and rebooting:

xp: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=2deddec4-350e-4cd0-a12a-d7f70a153156&DisplayLang=en

2k: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=1e268b39-533e-48b0-b8d7-1781befde1f8&DisplayLang=en

9x: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=4335216c-8cdd-4168-a030-46f815d3f5cd&DisplayLang=en

Then try installing MDAC 2.8 and rebooting:

i dunno. it sounds like it's having trouble writing the indexes to the database (primary keys and such). i don't know what would cause that besides bad/newer/older dlls. try this ...

delete these directories:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\ado

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO

then reinstall those two packages i mentioned above:

Try installing Jet 4.0 SP8 and rebooting:

xp: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=2deddec4-350e-4cd0-a12a-d7f70a153156&DisplayLang=en

2k: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=1e268b39-533e-48b0-b8d7-1781befde1f8&DisplayLang=en

9x: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=4335216c-8cdd-4168-a030-46f815d3f5cd&DisplayLang=en

Then try installing MDAC 2.8 and rebooting:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=6c050fe3-c795-4b7d-b037-185d0506396c&DisplayLang=en

then reboot and run these two lines from Start --> Run -->

regsvr32 "c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO\dao360.dll"

regsvr32 "c:\Program Files\Common Files\System\ado\msadox.dll"
