LOL, Lakers do exact same thing Pistons do, yet Lakers get called for fouls. This is the biggest bunch of bullshit there is. Ticky Tack fouls. They even showed before teh game, Lakers Freethrows like 53, Pistons 95. If pistons defence is so good, shouldnt the lakers have more foul shots? Duh.

Yawn...Another horribly called game.
Free Throws: Game 1
Lakers Pistons
18 30
Game 2
Lakers Pistons
25 31
Game 3
Lakers Pistons
13 30
Game 4
Lakers Pistons
22 41
LOL, Looks like theres a huge difference for some reason when the pistons are at home.
Like I said. Badly Called.

What planet you living on. Duh, if the Laker D wasn't a bunch of dysfunctional hackers who could cover the pick and roll the Piston whouldn't be a the line so often. Bad D = fouls, not good. Can I get another excuse Please. I say just sore losers. :wahh: What do you expect, an even foul total? You sure this isn't Phil Jackson who made that post cause when he starts to lose and doesn't get his way, it sure sounds alot like that whinny bastard. It's an conspiracy, 4 games and 11 different ref's used, but there all calling fouls favoring one side. Yea that's it. And to say the Lakers are doing the same things as the Pistons is a crock. Piston are taking the ball to the hole. Example Billups/Hamilton. They can't guard or keep up so they foul. Laker aren't driving the ball. They have takin 75 3's. How do you expect them to get to the line? Laker fans are afraid to face reality and are in denial, looking for excuses.

Congrats on Detroit. Lakers are still a better team, Detroit just played better for the series. They split 2-2 during the year. So the lakers have no problems beating detroit. I have no problem with Detroit winning. Just im a bigger lakers fan. Prince is on detroit, I live in Kentucky, and im a Die Hard UK fan, im happy for prince. There talking about giving the MVP to billups. That would be a disaster. Billups couldnt make anything happen with any of the teams he has played for. And hes not a great player, theres several other people on the team I would give it to before him. Congrats. (for beating a lakers team that has 80% of there starting line up injured!)

Billups got MVP. Thats a sign that the League is going downhill. Out of the last 15 or so Years I have followed NBA, he is deffinetly the worse MVP I have ever seen.

And who do you think should have got MVP? I could see Ben for the D, but Chauncey I feel was the difference. He gave the Lakers fits. Averaged 21ppg, 5a pg, shot 51% (29/57)from the field, and 93% from the line (39/42). I think it was the right call.
Here let me fix your statement
(for beating a lakers team that 80% of there starting line up are washed-up/ over rated!)

well everyone, i would like u all to go back to the first post posted in the forum by necro. see the part that says "the finals are going to be a joke"? how very true that statment was. did gary payton even show up for game 5? i mean cmon, karl malone did more on the bench than payton did on the floor. how do u expect to win when your starting pg only has 2 points? as far as matching up against chauncy, gary might as well have pulled down his shorts and taken it right square in the terd cutter. :hump: u cant say that fouls were a questionable factor tonite. the pistons played a near perfect series, no questions asked. the lakes couldnt do anymore than they did. pistons had nothing to do with the lakers injury problems and the only one that would have made a diff was karl malone, who still wouldnt have been enough to change the outcome of any game. no question that chauncy gets mvp. no one else was as consistent as he was in this series. the whole foul situation all comes down to the lakers not having a clue as to how to play defense, so they foul. that pretty much wraps up this series overview. so lakers fans quite your  and give respect where it is deserved :worship:

Yeah. Kobe going to have surgery on his shoulder, Malone can barely walk, Shaq, well he always has some injury, fisher has a fucked up ankle. Pistons barely made it past a shitty Nets team. But Like I said, Pistons played a better series, but they are not the better team, and they deserved to beat the lakers the way they played.

excuses excuses. kobe and shaq averaged from 25 to 30 a game. i dont think their injuries hindered their game one bit. kobe has been playing all season with a bad shoulder, and he still is one of the best. yes. malone can barely walk. he is like a elden campbelle. good for a few points, but that is it. necro, u didnt think the lakeres would have any problem sweeping the pistons before the series started, and all of those players were injured at that point. now that their embarrased, "injuries" are the reason they lost. oh, and one more thing. the pistons nets series was the best series of the playoffs. it was a defensive showdown. and being a lakers fan, your just now learning what that is
