Anyone see the article about cell phone guns? Crazy shit.. I used to own a pen gun, able to fire a single .22 shell by pulling up on the clip that's used to attach the pen to your shirt pocket. But cell phones? Jesus.. FOUR .22 shells inserted into the cell phone with the ability to fire in rapid succession just by touching the keypad.
Here's the link to the news article:

and a link to the movie of the cellphone at work:

sorry they're two links, but I'm at work, don't have time to search for one with both the article and the movie.
Needless to say, yet another reason for the security lines at air and sea ports to take 3 times as long as they ever have.
Cell Phone Guns

Re: Cell Phone Guns
well guys i work for the Dept. of Homeland Security, and it is a very sad fact that we see things like this everyday. It's so often that it doesn't even make the news anymore. Our country is in a terrible state right now, everyone wants to complain about the line at the airport....think what it would be like with out our federal screeners there, I know what it would be like...remember 9/11/01??? Events like that would happen more often. Day after day our security is tested by terroists. This isn't something you see on the news at all. Our leaders don't want to scare the public. What a sad state we live in
Re: Cell Phone Guns
Watched the news lately? Have you ever noticed that every story is "Look Out, You Might DIE!!"? Mad Cow disease, static causing a gas station to explode, someone in BFE found a worm in their apple, woman was stupid and dumped coffee on her lap, POTATO CHIPS ARE BAD FOR YOU, fast food can make you fat, YOU'RE GONNA DIE! Our nation is force-fed fear, from the time we are born until finally the forecast comes true and we die. When you're a child, if you don't go to bed before Santa comes, he won't leave your presents, or if you don't obey mommy and daddy, the boogeyman will get you. A little older - don't talk to strangers, don't eat candy given to you by strangers, they might molest you or kill you or eat you or take you to disneyland, where you'll get your head chopped off by a roller-coaster. I'm not saying these things don't happen, but I could walk down the street tomorrow and an airplane's engine could drop out of the sky and crush me, or a rabid dog could run up and pee on my leg and then commence ripping my throat out. A crazy terrorist could walk into my workplace and let loose his ball-bearing explosion, or I could choke on my morning donut. Why should we live in constant fear? Because the government decided that's a good way to keep us in line, just like our mommy and daddy did when they told us of the boogeyman. Sure, we have a terrorist problem, as does every other country in the world, but that doesn't mean we have to live our lives wondering when that next suicide-bomber is gonna strike in our living rooms. I'm not saying our country shouldn't be prepared, but enough with the fucking boogeyman. The government doesn't want to scare the public? Bullshit.
