I was just wondering if anyone knew of a bug in megamud that allows people to get other peoples passwords, using global chat channels.

i dont want to know how to do it, just if it was possible if anyone has heard of anything like that.

i have never heard of such a thing and it would be pretty hard to pull off. megamud only sends the password and responds to logon "triggers" during the connection process. once it enters the game all of those things are disabled.



one thing to keep in mind ... your BBS passwords are visible to the sysops (and anyone else with enough access) if this is your concern.
