Threaded view

Is there a way to increase the depth of the threaded view to more than like 7 or whatever it is set to by default? The way it's set up right now, I have to click on "more posts below current depth" like 3 times to get to the new posts in a 20-25 post thread. Can I just have it show the whole threaded structure at once? Threaded view is nice and all, but if I have to click several times to get to the new posts, I'd say good ol' linear view would get my vote as the best view option..

i feel you. i went back to "linear" mode awhile back just because of that.

I never changed from linear mode. I have always liked linear best.
