How often is the gigantic black ooze suppose to regen? I thought it was every 24 hours, but for some reason he seems to come back sooner.

nah, it's always been fast regen, I think I remember seeing it being 1 hour when using VirViewer a loooong time ago... either that or possibly it was instant-regen, I can't recall... but it's always been fast.

not normally, but there were always caps going around in the early 1.1 days of people w/ hexed characters killin it :)
