I always do. Just because you don't like the question, doesn't mean it's not reasonable.

Ogre will, Troll will, probably Minotaur..I haven't thought of that at all to be quite honest, and how you worded it before I took it as you asking if any other Kai will be able to have the forms. My apologies.

Between those 2, you've answered all of my questions about it.

Weren't witchies suppose to be combat-6? Also, why don't minion and widowmaker get jumpkick? I have an idea.. but just checking if it's a typo? And don't you guys think giving chain to ninjas is a little excesive? With their updated combat, that makes them pretty powerful -- it should be knocked down to studded if you guys are going w/ the upgraded armor idea..

Other than that.. Good job on the classes. Despite my complaints, this is one of the better editing/balancing jobs around here.

Minion has jumpkick..that might be a typo. Widowmaker doesn't get jumpkick though..just part of the class. Witchies are supposed to be combat 6, yes.

And yes..I thought Ninja's being chain would be a little excessive at first myself. Surprisingly enough, there are no Ninja's being played.. Down to studded might not be a bad idea, even still.

I know theres some things that just may not look or seem right..but you'll get that everywhere. I don't like having any shitty classes really, period..so in an effort to make them all somewhat worthwhile, it kind of unbalances things or just all-out makes everything look overpowered. But the end result turns out quite decently, everything is running rather smooth from what I can see..no complaints thus far from the users, minus a few item-to-class problems that have been fixed. If we notice or are referred any problems, I try to take care of them as soon as possible. You can never really be the best..but you can try your hardest. After a while you just kind of get burnt out, so you take a break. That's why I haven't been designing any new areas as of late, just working to better the ones we have.

The only reason I may have sounded as hostile as I did towards you, Rust, isn't one bit because you're a Damage Inc. person. As a matter of fact, I actually find you to be quite good at the game and just an overall good player when the rest of your gang isn't around to make you feel like you have to be a certain way...and if that's now how it is, that's how it seems. I just don't like criticism from people who haven't actually BEEN there to see if it is really how it looks. Because until someone actually plays to see, thats all it is..looks. I understand where you're coming from, and most of your arguements...but things aren't always how they seem when you're actually there doing them.

Uhh... you don't see anybody else from DI posting on MMB, let alone this thread, do you?... And I don't need "support" to act a certain way. If you haven't noticed, I bitch about a lot of edited boards (when I see them) because their edits are crap. One can't claim their classes/races are balanced when they're obviously not. According to your old webpage, they were, thus my replies.

And no.. it's not all looks.. I've played this game long enough and I know it well enough to be able to precisely judge how a class will play out as it gains levels. This isn't elitist attitude talking either.. I know what I'm talking about, thus the criticism.. Note -- constructive and reasonable not flaming criticism.

That being said, in its present form, this is one of the best balancing jobs around here, without an obviously weak or strong class, and I like to give credit where credit is due.. Races are ok as well -- exp tables need work, but stat-wise they're good, so I didn't say much about them, seeing how 8% or 20% won't make or break anything..

EXP charts are only as low as they are because they're cut in half. Though, when it first started out charts were /3, so i just did x3 /2..which means they probably arent EXACTLY half...so give or take.

Are ninjas gonna get an armor downgrade? There's a good chance I'm going to sign up there shortly, and that's one of the classes I'm looking at.

edit: what's the max level there?

I don't think they need a downgrade from armor, I'd like to see someone play a ninja to make sure how they play. We've had revs that didn't really like them, but I haven't really seen many ninjas that were unbalanced so to speak. I've tried hard to make things more formulaic, that's why a few of the classes had crits/dodge lowered to match the classes they are a hybrid of.

Bah, past level 65 makes PvP almost void anyways. But then again, most people who join up on highly edited bbses aren't that concerned with PvP, just with new and exciting areas or something. I'd like to see a balancing act where at level 80, PvP still was quite enjoyable and not crit frenzied BS. Now here comes flames on how PvP is still great at high levels, but anyone who knows shit about PvP will tell you true PvP is at levels 15-30.
