Newbie Tutorial

Post by MydKnight »

Hi, im new to editing mud but want to learn how to do it. I only have version 1.11g so cannot use nightmare, and would like to learn how to hex. I was wondering if anyone out there knew of any pages to look at that show how to do this. If you wouldnt mind giving a little one on one tutoring, that would be wonderful as well. I use AIM, ICQ, Yahoo and MSN messengers.

Err sorry, meant to say 1.11f and i wont upgrade because I dont belive in throwing any further money away on the waste of time wcc company. I am VERY unhappy with their pricing scheme these days and am just hacking away at the verion I have for my personal use.

Nin, it's not illegal for him to edit his current copy of mud. We *are* related to the "hacking" (which is normally referred to as hexing) of Majormud. He's not doing anything illegal, all he's doing is violating his license agreement which means he will not get any further support from Metro. This isn't a big deal since he doesn't want any more upgrades.

Mydknight, did you read AA's post?

I believe 1.11g is compatible with 1.11f. Maybe not. I'll shoot you a PM and see if I can help you out.
