I use to play in open tournaments. Had a ranking of 1573 last I recall

I play, used to study the game. Haven't really kept up with it and never could memorize the openings and counters you need to to become great. I still enjoy playing though :D

Kasparov (highest rated player in the world) is set to play game 2 against the chess program Deep Junior later today. It's his first Man v Machine match since the widely publisized '97 match when he lost to computer Deep Blue.

Fritz 7.0 is a more superior chess program.. and more widely used too..

Kasparov isnt as strong as he used to be, hes still good but he looses alot more than he did years ago
